Japanese Wild Catch Sashimi Scallop Hotate - 26 to 30pcs Medium Size
Wild-caught Scallop Kings from Hokkaido! Plump, juicy and sweet, these jumbo scallops are harvested and individually, quick-frozen within hours of harvest, making them sashimi grade quality.
Being sashimi grade, these jumbo scallops can be consumed directly after thawing. They are great for sashimi application but are just as delicious, sautéed or broiled. All scallops can be grilled and cooked, but not all scallops can be eaten raw.
These scallops are dry packed, which means that they are not plumped up nor whitened with the use of chemicals that are commonly found in scallops in major markets. Hence are safe for sashimi consumption.
Remove desired number of scallops, wash and leave it out to defrost for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into sashimi slices. Each scallop is equivalent to approximately 2 to 3 slices of sashimi, can be sliced thinner for Carpaccio.
